Ebay Auctions

Lately I've been trying to be a little more brutal with myself when it comes to getting rid of the piles of vintage clothes stuffed in my closet, so here are some pieces I'm selling. Remember, each item is one of a kind so you might want to work yourself into a bidding frenzy.

Ending tonight:

Vintage on eBay

Late 30's/early 40's two piece set: size 4/6.

Late 1930's ragamuffin handmade feedsack dress with heart pocket: size 12/14

40's Scarecrow novelty print dress: size XS

1930's depression era rayon floral dress: size 6ish.

I finally listed some more stuff on eBay! They are listed for after 7pm, West Coast time tonight.
I'm also thinking of starting on etsy shop, but it seems like you really have to promote yourself, and I'm so lazy, you know?

Sorry

I'm selling some very cute vintage on ebay, ends tonight!

Sorry, I posted this on both my blogs, if anyone is reading one or the other. Speaking of which, for some reason I wrote that I had two fashion blogs on my resume and when I first moved to Brooklyn, New York I dropped off a resume at Brooklyn Industries (basically a very, very middle of the road retail chainlet who sell t-shirts with bikes and other stuff very slightly too edgy for the Gap) because I was desperate and the manager read the resume and she was like, "Two fashion blogs?" And I was like "God I am such a moron like that is going to impress someone." True story!

Horrifying and Horrible Things I have Found on eBay Lately

This went for like $160! Huge blazers are getting their sleeves scrunched up these days, in order to distract you from the fact that you are wearing a huge blazer.

This dress was identified as being by the designer Kathi Lee. God, I wish I could go back in time to a Wal-Mart in 1996 and get these fresh off the racks!

Now it's not just shapeless short floral 90's dresses, but the long Mormon-y ones have also hit the scene. If you don't believe me, look at this photo of fashion icon Lindsay Lohan:

Also, this jumpsuit photo is worth posting:

The shape of this makes for an unsettling look.

Oh god, it's rayon floral shorts attached to a denim top! And it has two bids.

Isn't this darling? I'm also predicting these denim and chambray pieces embroidered with Winnie the Pooh and friends but made for adult women are what simply everyone will be wearing by fall. One needs only add strappy platform bondage heels and a bowler hat. In the parlance of fashion blogs, I am totally "coveting" and "obsessing" over these!

eBay Auctions

Sorry I haven't done a real post in while. Perhaps you want to buy some vintage, or a Betsey Johnson dress, from my eBay auctions? Don't be shy. I'm also selling a pair of Harley Davidson boots, just like you've always wanted.

eBay Mysteries

Why is this bulky, nerdy science teacher style sweatshirt going for $60? And are people photoshopping ebay models now? Because this looks hella messed up.

Perhaps more importantly, why is this going for $50??? It looks like a giant vagina, but not in a good way. God, everybody is just shortening stuff and selling it as a "mini" these days. I'm against it.

eBay Auctions!!!!

Hi, I have some eBay auctions up right now. Also, I have this vague plan to create an eBay "boutique" with the ten million pieces of designer crap I have laying around my mother's house. I'm planning on using the fact that I once sold a 70's maxi dress with crochet front to Tori Spelling during the boho craze aught-2. Or something. Anyway, this isn't designer crap, but cute vintage! Go forth and buy! And I'll post for real! Also, do yourself a favor and watch that new Lady Gaga video! It's great!
